PUBLIC BEER TASTINGS

We brew to unite people and communities over world-class beer. If you share our passion for pints with pals, we hope you’ll join us for a BBF Tasting. 

During a Tasting, one of our brewers will talk you through 6 BBF beers. You’ll journey from light to dark in colour for perfect pallet progression. Our brewers will explain the style, ingredients, and brew process that make BBF beers so tasty. There will also be plenty of opportunity for you to ask any burning questions about your favourite beers.

Public Tastings are held year-round, usually every Tuesday evening, in Studio BBF (attached to our Tap Room on North St). Come alone or as a group - all welcome!

Please note the maximum number of people we can accommodate is 15, so booking is essential. If you would like a date other than ones listed, please see PRIVATE EVENTS below.

• 90-minute Tasting, led by a BBF expert
• 3 pints from the Tap Room (1/3 of 6 different beers during the Tasting, then a pint of your favourite to finish)

PRIVATE EVENTS

Want to come on a different date? Or bring a large group? Let us arrange a bespoke event for you! A private tasting is the ideal option for big friend groups, clubs & societies, or corporate outings. Make an enquiry now.

The small print: private tastings can usually be arranged on weeknights or Saturday daytimes, subject to availability. These must be booked in advance and a minimum group size and/or budget may apply.

CANCELLATIONS AND REBOOKING

Tasting tickets are non-refundable unless there are exceptional circumstances. Please let us know at least 24 hours in advance if you are unable to attend your booking, we will be happy to help you rebook for another date. Unfortunately, we cannot reschedule tickets with less than 24 hours’ notice, or for no-shows.

USING BREWERY TOUR VOUCHERS

WHY WE’VE SWITCHED TO TASTINGS

We’ve always loved showing folks around the brewery. Switching from Tours to Tastings comes down to two things: safety and scheduling.

Our brew house is full of charm… as well as steep stairs and uneven surfaces – not a good combo for an event that involves drinking! Tastings in Studio BBF will be safer and more accessible. Still the same amount of beer with none of the stairs.

Additionally, our increasingly busy brew schedule means that the brewery is often being used in the evenings for, you guessed it, brewing beer.

A Tasting will give you the same amount of beer and the same amount of brewing intel… just in a much comfier setting.
