Bristol is a vibrant city buzzing with culture, creativity and opportunity. Like the rest of the UK, inequalities are widespread but thankfully, we have a network of people and charities going above and beyond to uplift our communities.

Connecting people and celebrating our city is woven into the DNA of Bristol Beer Factory. Pubs are cornerstones of the community. Let's be fair, there aren't many village halls left. When you meet up for a beer, you connect with your people, share a smile with a stranger, solve a problem or shake it off. You build community. Our community made us who we are, and we are committed repaying the favour. Over the years, we have developed charity partnerships, like our collaboration with Talk Club, and offer ad-hoc community beer donations and sponsorships. But our city needed more, and we knew we could rise to the challenge.

In 2023, we pledged to DONATE 2% of EVERY BREWERY SALE to local projects making a difference. That means that every keg, cask or can leaving our yard is giving back to Bristol.

That’s what we call DRINK WITH PURPOSE.

We prioritise Bristol-focused charities and groups that are:

• creating greater food equity;
• widening access to sport, especially for young people;
• bringing communities together, especially in South Bristol;
• protecting Bristol’s green spaces and cultural heritage;
• enabling dignity for those experiencing crisis.

Our support is helping to fund activities across the city including mental health therapies, meal kits for 16-25 year old care leavers, play equipment for neurodivergent children, mentorship programmes for marginalised young people, cooking classes for refugees and support for families affected by terminal illness.
