BEER FOR GOOD
Whether you tried Clear Head 0.5% IPA for the first time this January, or you've been crushing it since we first launched two years ago, we want to say THANK YOU.
THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING LOCAL PUBS
Dry January often receives backlash from the pub trade as discouraging people to visit their local at a time when hospitality needs our support more than ever. To put this into context, it's believed the recent energy crisis has seen more venues close now than during the height of pandemic lockdowns.
We believe that the future of the local pub lies in the fact it should be a place that is accessible and enjoyable for all, no matter what you're drinking. Clear Head's popularity inspired dozens of our favourite indie Bristol boozers to put ALCOHOL FREE ON TAP this past year. Now, more of you than ever can have a freshly poured pint of independent craft beer, SUPPORTING YOUR LOCAL no matter what the ABV is.
That's what we mean by STAND INDEPENDENT.
THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING TALK CLUB
5% OF CLEAR HEAD SALES go directly to Talk Club, the Bristol-born charity creating a sustainable, positive MENTAL HEALTH COMMUNITY. Since we began collaborating with Talk Club, they've become a big name in the Bristol community, working with the likes of Liam Gallagher and Tyson Fury to raise awareness across the UK, helping more men get mentally fit than ever before.
Our first year of collaboration saw the Talk Club team take on permanent offices at Tobacco Factory, just over the road from our brewery Tap Room where the very first meetings were held. That was 2021, when our donation hit the £5k mark. In 2022, they recruited their first full-time employee. And the growth doesn't stop there. Bristol Beer Factory's input hits a record £22k to date - tripling our donation from last year. How has that been impacting the work at Talk Club? We sat down with founder Ben over a cup of Wogan x Talk Club coffee (yep, that's a thing) to ask how the last year had been for him.
"It's gone gangbusters! We're now at over 70 groups for Talk Club and more opening all the time. We're finding new ways to ask the community, "how are you out of 10?". There's so much to get involved with now, and a growing team at Talk Club to manage it all."
We can't wait to see what they do next. Keep up to date with all the latest happenings via @talkclubuk on Instagram, or read more here: https://linktr.ee/talkclub
